* Avant Garde architect usually has been disliked in architectural discourses as well as in the market . Even then young architects have been opening up new opportunities for practice and they have been pioneers of the next generation of architecture as well as new techniques. We have found Jack’ s story very similar to this in the Beanstalk Fairytale. He has never been approved by his mother and his curiosity for the world above the clouds had always caused trouble for him. It was mostly his curiosity driving the whole story similar to the experimental designers story. We are not sure if the Avant Garde still exist but we have tried to create a free play space around for young architects in this four days workshop. There has been component based self-climbing structural emergent systems developed along the workshop. The works can be seen in Taşkışla Entrance Hall in May 17th-24th. 


* Yenilikçi Mimar çoğu zaman koşulları zorlayan karakteriyle hem piyasada hem de mevcut mimari söylemlerde onaylanmayan bir konumda tutuldu. Buna rağmen Rus Konstruktivistler' den Eamesler'e kadar birçok Avant Garde tasarımcı bir sonraki nesil için yeni olanakları göstermekte önemli rol oynadı. Fasülye Sırığı' ndaki Jack’in hikayesini de bu açıdan genç mimarın durumuna benzer bulduk. Jack annesinin onaylamadığı bir karakter olmakla birlikte meraklı oluşu her zaman başına bela açmaya devam etti. Günümüzde hala Avant Garde olmanın mümkün olup olmadığı tartışılır bir konu olsa da dört günlük çalıştay boyunca fasulye sırığı metaforu çevresinde merakları peşinden gitmeleri için tasarımcılara özgür bir alan tanımlandı. 1/1 ölçek üretimlerin yapıtlığı çalıştay boyunca birim(component) bazlı tırmanan strüktürel olusum sistemleri(emergent systems) geliştirildi. Ürünler Taşkışla Binası giriş holünde 17-24 Mayıs tarihleri arasında görülebilir.
